Refund policy
Last updated: 25/03/2026
This policy explains how returns, refunds, and cancellations work when you purchase items from our online marketplace. Because we operate as a multivendor platform, each order is fulfilled by the independent vendor who listed the item. Your rights and the process for returns may vary depending on the type of item purchased.
1. Who You Are Buying From
Items sold on our marketplace are supplied by independent vendors. When you place an order:
Your contract of sale is with the vendor, not with Memorabilia Seller Ltd.
Vendors are responsible for handling returns, refunds, and cancellations unless we state otherwise.
We support customers by helping to coordinate communication and resolve issues where needed.
2. Your Right to Cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations)
For most items, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it.
However, this right does not apply to:
Bespoke or personalised items
Items that have been altered at your request
Items where a tamper‑proof authenticity seal has been broken
Digital products once downloaded or accessed
If an item is eligible for cancellation, you must notify us or the vendor within 14 days of delivery.
3. Items That Cannot Be Returned
Due to the nature of memorabilia, some items are non‑returnable unless faulty:
One‑of‑a‑kind items where the authenticity seal has been removed or damaged
Items that have been handled beyond what is necessary to inspect them
Items damaged after delivery
Items clearly marked as non‑returnable on the product page
These rules protect the integrity and authenticity of collectible items.
4. How to Request a Return
To start a return, contact:
Our customer support team at sales@memorabiliaseller.com if you need assistance
Please include:
Your order number
The item you wish to return
The reason for the return
Photos if the item is damaged or not as described
We will confirm whether the item is eligible for return and provide instructions.
5. Condition of Returned Items
Returned items must be:
In their original condition
With all accessories, certificates, and packaging
With authenticity seals intact (where applicable)
Vendors may refuse a refund if the item is returned in a condition that reduces its value.
6. Faulty or Not‑as‑Described Items
If an item arrives damaged, faulty, or significantly different from the description:
You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015
You must report the issue within 30 days of receiving the item
Vendors may request photos or evidence to assess the issue
We will support you throughout the process to ensure a fair outcome.
7. Refunds
Once a return is approved and the item is received back:
The vendor will issue a refund to your original payment method
Refunds are typically processed within 14 days of the vendor receiving the returned item
Original shipping costs may be refunded depending on the reason for return
Refunds cannot be issued until the vendor confirms receipt and inspection of the returned item.
8. Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping costs depend on the reason for return:
Customer‑initiated returns (change of mind): You are responsible for return postage.
Faulty or incorrect items: The vendor will cover return postage or provide a prepaid label.
We recommend using a tracked service for high‑value items.
9. Lost or Damaged Returns
You are responsible for ensuring the item reaches the vendor safely. If a return is lost or damaged in transit, the vendor may not be able to issue a refund.
10. Dispute Resolution
If you cannot resolve an issue with a vendor:
Contact us at sales@memorabiliaseller.com and we will help mediate
If needed, you may escalate the matter through your payment provider or relevant consumer protection channels
We aim to ensure all customers receive fair treatment.
